Membership
PCANS is a not-for-profit association run by volunteers. Most of the activities we undertake require some level of financial planning. We try to keep our events financially balanced, with event revenues matching the expenses, however sometimes revenue shortfalls do happen. It is much easier for us to plan an event with some allocated budget, which is basically covered by PCANS membership fees and donations. Actual event financials are managed by tickets sales and event sponsorships.
Membership information:
Memberships period runs from January to December.
Memberships should be renewed yearly including Regular and Student (non-paid) memberships. Renewal emails will be sent every year in December with a grace period of 3 months - until 31st March.
If any Patron membership fails to be renewed by 31st March, the Patron will be removed from Patron members email distribution list and their membership status will be changed to Regular (non-paid) membership.
New Patron members joining during July to September are eligible to pay only half of annual membership fees.
New Patron members joining after 1st October are required to pay full annual membership fees with their membership period extending up to December of the following year.
